- Name — your full name as provided in the risk checker form
- Email address — used to send you your risk snapshot and follow-up communications
- WhatsApp number (optional) — if you choose to provide it for faster communication
- Product — the type of machinery you are sourcing (e.g., Bottled Water Filling Line)
- Supplier name — the name of the Chinese supplier you want to check
- Supplier link — the URL of the supplier's Alibaba store, website, or listing
- Supplier platform — where you found the supplier (Alibaba, Made-in-China, etc.)
- Quotation amount and currency — the price quoted by the supplier
- Order quantity — the quantity you intend to purchase
- Destination country — the country where the machinery will be shipped
- Main concern — your primary concern about the supplier (e.g., payment safety, price too cheap)
- Additional notes — any other information you provide in the notes field
If you contact us through our contact form, we collect your name, email, and the message you send us.
How We Use Your Information
We use the information you provide for the following purposes:
- Risk assessment — to generate a free risk snapshot with red flags, questions to ask, and payment safety guidance based on your supplier details
- Email communication — to send you your risk snapshot results, follow-up emails about recommended services, and responses to your inquiries
- Service delivery — to prepare and deliver professional verification reports if you purchase a paid service
- Admin notification — to notify our team when a new lead is submitted so we can follow up with you
- Service improvement — to analyze usage patterns and improve our risk assessment algorithms and user experience
We do not sell, rent, or share your personal information with third parties for marketing purposes. Your supplier details are used solely for preparing your risk assessment and are not shared with the supplier or any other supplier.
Manual Review of Submitted Documents
If you upload documents (for example, a business license, quotation, proforma invoice, or bank account details), those documents and the supplier information you provide may be submitted for manual review by our team to prepare your report. Uploaded documents are stored in a private storage bucket and are not public. Only authorized reviewers can access your files through short-lived, admin-only access. We do not publish your documents and do not share them with the supplier or any third party.
Our manual review is a preliminary review based on the information and documents you submit. It does not guarantee supplier performance, delivery, or product quality, and it is not a substitute for full due diligence.
Cookies & Analytics
We use cookies and analytics tools to understand how visitors use our website. This helps us improve our content and user experience.
- Google Analytics 4 (GA4) — We use GA4 to collect anonymized usage data such as page views, session duration, and traffic sources. GA4 does not collect personally identifiable information through our website.
- Microsoft Clarity — We use Microsoft Clarity for heatmaps and session recordings to understand user behavior. Clarity anonymizes IP addresses and does not collect personal data.

Third-Party Services

- Resend — Used to send transactional emails (risk snapshot results, follow-up emails). Your email address is shared with Resend solely for the purpose of delivering emails to you.
- Supabase — Used as our database to store lead information. Your form data is stored in Supabase's PostgreSQL database. If Supabase is not configured, data is stored locally in a SQLite database.
- Stripe — Used for processing payments for paid reports. When you click a payment link, you are redirected to Stripe's hosted checkout page. We do not store your credit card information — Stripe handles all payment processing securely.
- Microsoft Clarity — Used for anonymous heatmaps and session recordings.
- Google Analytics 4 — Used for anonymous website traffic analysis.
Data Retention
We retain your lead information for as long as necessary to provide our services and respond to your inquiries. If you request a paid report, we retain your information until the report is delivered and for a reasonable period thereafter for customer support purposes. You may request deletion of your data at any time by contacting us at support@chinasourcingguard.com.

You have the following rights regarding your personal information:
- Access — You can request a copy of the personal information we hold about you.
- Correction — You can request that we correct any inaccurate or incomplete information.
